Skin Cancer is one of the most preventable forms of cancer and derma DNA™ skin testing can improve the chances of an early diagnosis. If you have had two or more bad sunburns in your life, tan regularly, had a blood relative who was diagnosed with skin cancer or concerned that you may be prematurely showing signs of ageing, you may be a suitable candidate for this test.

This test determines both your genetic risk profile for melanoma, as well as your level of skin damage due to ultraviolet radiation. The test involves one simple swab of your skin and a second swab of the cheek cells inside your mouth. These cells are sent to a specialized DNA testing facility to ultimately determine the quantitative risk of melanoma, and ultraviolet skin damage. This information can serve as a powerful tool for treatment and prevention of future skin damage and cancers.
