There is virtually no risk of animal-based disease transmission, or of allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to common foods such as beef, chicken and eggs.
What does lip augmentation treatment involve?
A medical physician injects small amounts of cosmetic dermal filler gel into the skin using an ultrafine needle. To optimize your comfort during this quick, simple procedure, the physician may anesthetize the treatment area. The effects, which are long lasting but not permanent, can be seen instantaneously.
What can I expect after treatment?
Common side effects include temporary redness and swelling at the injection site. These effects typically resolve within two to three days. Post-treatment care will be discussed at the time of consultation.
How long will the results of cosmetic dermal fillers last?
Cosmetic dermal hyaluronic acid filler gels are long lasting but, ultimately, biodegradable and non-permanent. Though individual results may vary, cosmetic hyaluronic acid dermal filler gels can last between six and 12 months before they are completely reabsorbed by the body.
